GRAND PATIO 12 FT Deluxe NAPOLI SUNBRELLA Cantilever Umbrella with Umbrella Cover

We live in an area where wind is a daily occurrence. This 12’ round umbrella on the cantilever arm and sand/water filled base handles it very well. My wife, who is 5’3” can easily open and adjust the umbrella as needed. We’ve had two gatherings and guests complement the look, function, and intimate vibe it creates. I filled the base with 200lbs of sand and then added water. It isn’t going to move. Love the footprint compared to a pergola. The Sunbrella fabric is another positive. Took the backyard to the next level.

So, the Mrs. purchased this umbrella about two years ago, going on year three (2026). It does cover a nice area over the pool’s sun ledge, where we have two in water lounge chairs. Of course, when the sun moves, we have to adjust the umbrella.

Filled it with water and we had at least three mishaps. No one was injured! Finally “broke down” and got sand to fill the void. So, save some $$$!!! Went to the local “Big Box” store and price of sand, playground quality ~$19.99/60 lb bag; general usage ~$17.99/50 lb bag; BUT WAIT!!! There’s more!!! Tube sand (used in the back of trucks, cars, work horses… ~$5.99/50 lb bag!!! NO BRAINER!! Got them home, cut a slit in the bag, tilted the umbrella towards the umbrella, opposite the wheels and let gravity do most of the work. Set it down and topped it off with water.

Besides water not being able to hold it down, the company does recommend using a combo of sand and water, is although for now it appears stable, no major wind gust above 9mph we have green growth on the umbrella. I am hoping, with it being left open, while we are home, the sun and rain will rid the umbrella of this discoloration.

This umbrella provides so much shade and is so easy to put up. If you set it up according to the way the sun goes you can really provide a lot of extra shade. I love how you can angle it and how easy it was to assemble ! Everyone who comes over asks where I got it! I’m very happy with my purchase

Easy to build, put 200lb of rocks and 80lb of sand. Need a 2nd person to help tip it over to move. So far so good, works the way it is supposed to.

I have never once written a review of anything. I ordered this last year to match other sunbrella umbrellas we had. This was 1/3 of the cost of others so I figured I’d give it a try and go from there. I just put it up today (a year later). Nothing was missing. It was easy to put together (easier than expected) and it is sturdy and really nice. So pleased!!! It does help to have a second person when filling the base with sand and putting the big pole in but you could do it alone if you needed to. I would buy this over and over again and will look to this company when we replace our regular umbrellas next summer.

This cantilevered red umbrella from Grand Patio is exactly what I wanted! It matches the red umbrella for the table perfectly. I'm ecstatic with the quality of both! I highly recommend this manufacturer! "What you see is what you get!"

Reasonably easy to put together.

This umbrella is absolutely huge! I glued some giant 3M furniture sliders underneath the base so it can be shifted around easily without damaging the deck. It has wheels on the back if you need to move it a long distance. I filled the base with 6 bags of play sand (300 lbs total) but no water. Didn't want to worry about it freezing and cracking in the Winter. Can be adjusted from directly overhead, to about a 50 degree angle when the sun is coming from the side. Assembles and operates pretty easily.

Easy to set up, and simple to uses. Seems pretty durable. Very happy with our purchase. We had a small issue with the billing that was resolved VERY quickly. Excellent all the way around.

the umbrella works fine. There was one missing step in the assembly instructi0ns in that you fail to mention to remove the packing material around the hinges in the umbrella. When I first opened it it did not open all the way and I noticed the material on the hinges. Once I removed it the umbrella opened fully.

Great umbrella for the price . Helps keep my pool considerably cooler. Fabric is top notch . The wheels could be better and the base is not very maneuverable but the umbrella itself is fantastic.

So far it’s doing everything I needed it to do. It comes in two boxes and is not too difficult building. Helpful to two guys working on it, but I did it myself and I’m 72 .

everything was great fed ex dilivery could have been better they just dropped it off the back of the truck and i mean dropped them onto the concrete driveway good thing you packed everything so goodthe boxs were damaged but all was good inside

We love this 12'x12'; it really makes a big difference by keeping are patio shaded. The only thing is, it's hard to move around because of its weight. I would highly recommend it.

made. Great coverage. For ease we filled ours with just water all the way to the top. We have it a protected courtyard so not worried about instability from wind.

It is not as sturdy as I hoped. On a slightly windy day it was tilting up by the base. The base is full of water so we were surprised

This is our second Grand Patio Sunbrella. We love them. They are set up on our southern-facing deck & do a good job keeping it cool & shaded. Makes spending time lounging on the deck much more comfortable.

Love the umbrella it was just what we were looking at for the pool.
