This Umbrella is awesome! Not only was it easy to put together but it basically covers my patio extension that I built and after filling it with sand and water the back wheels make it pretty easy to move around. What the best part was was the customer service that I received when I noticed that the rope had burned through the plastic down paste and I simply contacted them even directly even though I ordered it through Amazon and the response was amazing and once they found my order I literally got the replacement part within three days. Now that’s what I call customer support. A lot of companies claim that they have great customer support but I can tell you from experience that that’s not always the case , but these guys were just so easy to work with and the part was received within days, not weeks literally days it was FedEx to me. Anyone looking for a great umbrella should shop Grand Patio and they stand behind their products

We purchased the 11 foot version. The only challenge of putting it together was getting the base bracket to set in enough to get the bolt started. With a little bit of body lean, got them started and pulled together. The only part where I required a second person was when the step requires setting the pole on the base. My wife helped and it went on easily. We also purchased a cover (12-14 ft size) which went on easily. Filled the base with water - just have to remember to drain some water for the winter to keep the base from cracking due to expansion. The screw in plugs took some finesse- recommend wiping the threads on the base to get any excess plastic out before closing.

Easy to put together, we have only used for one day but it seems very sturdy so far. We were able to wheel it around with two people which was a feature we were looking for.

This umbrella is PERFECT! I love the way it can be pulled out of the way if not needed, and totally covers the table area and seating. One sacrifice is that it does not tilt if the sun gets low in any direction. I think we'll probably find ways to adjust so that a low sun will not be in some faces. The material is nice quality, seams appear sturdy, the stand and post are substantial. If I had it to do all over again, I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

We just put the umbrella up looks great so far! We had one idea that I have not seen anywhere so we thought we would share... Use the collar that goes around the bottom of the pole as a funnel for the sand!! It fits the hole perfectly.

I haven’t set up yet. My son in law will be here in July to assemble.

The airflow feature doesn't seem to open. The umbrella really sways in the slightest breeze. Is there something I can do to make the canopy more stable?

DO order from them. I received a broken base send picture sent receipt sent invoice numbers but because I did not have an order number ththey refused to send a new base. They received all the documents that I had including the PayPal recipe order this through grand piano who could not help either

We ordered one of these umbrellas as a trial for our very sunny deck in Vermont, and we were so happy with the umbrella that we ordered a second one, plus one for a friend!

These are the only umbrellas we were able to find that had "style." All the others had mechanical looking arms and insubstantial bases, which weren't appealing at all. But these are stunning!

Even better, we watched the video at Amazon about the assembly, and it seemed easy enough. We've been wrong about this "assembly" aspect before, but not this time! The umbrellas were assembled in less than half an hour, just as in the video. The engineering is a masterpiece.

Don't be concerned in the base arrives separately from the umbrella itself. This occurred with our first umbrella and the company reassured me immediately that the base would arrive promptly. It arrived the next day.

Perfect for my deck. Exactly what we needed and it covers just about all of our sitting area. Very sturdy, made extremely well. Before you fill the base, make sure you have it where you want it, because if your not Hercules your not going to move it around , unless you use a hand truck. But, without the weight you would be chasing it through the neighborhood!!!! All in all I am glad I purchased one, it really is great.

For all those who say it takes 2 people, they are smart, but it can be done by one. The instructions were very clear. They show 2 men. LOL it can be done by one crafty old woman. The trick is to use a tallish step ladder and have it take the weight of the umbrella as you put the metal post in. Also buy sand in 60 pound bags, not 100. I can tell it is not sturdy enough for high winds, I will probably remove the fabric for the winter. But as for adding sand, it was super easy as the plug holes are huge. I just cut the corner of the bag and let it spill in. After the first bag I tipped the base to get the sand to fill the far end. After the second I used a heavy duty hand truck to lift the filling end. After that it was too heavy. So I added sand and used the pup's chuck-it to move the sand deeper in the cavity to be able to add 3 more bags. It is pretty and will provide great shade.

Our order got totally messed up however the company straightened it out. We were very pleased with very happy. I would definitely recommend the product and the company.

This is a really nice umbrella. The reason I gave it 3 stars and not 5 is because the screw holes did not align. We had to redrill the support bracket on the bottom in order to put together. Also you can not put this together alone. This is a 2 person job.

Update: Changed from 3 to 5 stars. The seller’s customer service is excellent. They reached out and offered to fix the bracket or to ship a new base if the base did not hold up. Very appreciative that they rectified the situation.

After notifying the Seller of my issues with this backyard umbrella, they were easy to work with and satisfied all of my concerns. I was very pleased with the resolution.

Assembly was a breeze, but simply due to the difficulty of getting the umbrella section pole slipped over the base pole, I chose to wait for my wife to come home to steady it while I got it in place, but that was easy too. For the money this can't be beat. I looked at similar items twice the price that I can't imagine functioning any better. I went water only on the base and so far so good.

Nice 11 foot movable umbrella. Great for the pool that I can move towards the water for shade. This is actually a replacement umbrella for the same exact one we bought two years ago, but one day I forgot to tether it to the arm of the umbrella and the wind snapped the cord at the top. Will keep the extra pieces and replace down the road if needed, but could not figure out how to repair the cord to attach to the umbrella, even after multiple calls to the manufacture, no help there!
